In the interview with France 24, Professor Dwivedi expressed her views on the future of India, stating that it would evolve into a nation devoid of Hinduism. She made a distinction between two visions of India: the historical India characterized by a caste-based social order that marginalized the majority population, and a future India that she envisioned as egalitarian and free from caste oppression and Hinduism.
